Hague Lake Cottage is situated on the sandy shore of Hague Lake. A short footpath through the large cedar trees on the property leads to a quiet public lake beach area, perfect for a picnic, suntanning, or splashing in the warm waters of the lake. The long sandy beach is a short walk away to the north of the property.
The house has undergone significant and tasteful renovations to make it into a cozy lakeside home, perfect for a family or two couples. Children will love the kid’s room with bunk beds, games, and puzzles. All will appreciate the wide expansive deck for enjoying BBQs and lounging while taking in the gorgeous lake views.
The cottage has two bedrooms each with queen beds, and an additional children’s room with a bunk bed and a single. The kitchen is simple but well equipped with everything needed to cook family breakfasts and other meals. The deck is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while taking in the morning sunlight. This cute and simple lakeside cottage has plenty of room for one or two families to enjoy one another’s company, and well behaved pets are considered if the family dog wants to enjoy a holiday on the lake as well.
“Everything was so, so great. The home, location and booking through you was excellent. The house was very well set up…We loved Hague Lake, Kwa’s Park, Brigitte’s Beach and Manson’s Lagoon. Every where we went was so incredibly gorgeous. Swimming in the peaceful lake was our favourite. We loved being able to walk to the Co-op for groceries.”

“The cottage was a lovely retreat for a week. Having access to the lake for swimming was wonderful. So, in spite of the weather, we enjoyed our stay.”

“We lucked out and managed to get a 3 night stay at the Hague Lake Cottage. The Cottage was very clean, and offered everything we could have wanted, from a well stocked kitchen, great water pressure in the shower, washer and dryer, puzzles and games and gorgeous views. Having our own little sandy beach was awesome and just a short walk through the trees to the main beach area. just up the hill was Manson’s Landing and access to groceries, a cafe, bookstore, Papa’s take out with great Greek food and a small museum and visitors centre. the location was excellent and a short drive to lots of other amazing spots on the Island. We opened the door one morning to find a deer standing there! it truly is a paradise! our only complaint is that we had to leave!”

“The cabin is in very good shape and has very comfortable beds, and great beach access. The linens were excellent shape. We really appreciated the choice of board games, etc.”

“We loved our stay on Cortes. It is a magical place with lots to see and do. This location on the lake was perfect – we would love to come back… It was also great how organized the cottage was – I credit the agency for this. Usually when people have a cottage, it is always filled with their cast off broken items. This cottage has simple and well laid out. Everything worked! What a treat. Our boys loved the cliff jumping especially!”

“This is a warm, comfortable cottage. The deck is a spectacular place to hang with friends and family, make music, play games, quietly read a book or nap. The lake is the best on the island. So many wonderful memories for our family and new ones created each time we visit.”
