A huge fenced yard borders the walk-on beach — safe for children, and a great playground for adults. You can swim or keep kayaks or canoe at hand for exploring.
The main house has 4 large bedrooms which sleep at least 8 comfortably & has an additional dorm-like room that can accommodate another 4/6 singles. Moorage available at free standing wharf and safe anchorage in front of lodge.

This is also a warm and [...]]]> T’ai Li Lodge is made up of 2 distinct sites, “the Lodge” and “Arbutus Point Camp”. They can be rented separately or together.

The Lodge

It stands on a peninsula surrounded on 3 sides by the sea. This peninsula forms a secure anchorage where a dock and 3 guest moorings are located. This is also a warm and wonderful place to swim.

The Lodge is a 1600 sq. ft. home perched above the sea, with large windows filled with stunning scenery – ocean, mountains, trees and quiet harbour. You will be surrounded by bird songs and the sound of water.

The building has decks on 2 sides (1 with screening), enhanced by planters of flowers and fresh herbs. Beyond the decks, the grounds have been kept in their natural state with minimal clearing and magical footpaths. Large sloping rocks covered with moss and dwarf evergreens form your front yard.

The Lodge building was completely rebuilt in 2005 and features a custom finished interior of local and exotic woods. There are 2 baths, 1 with a bathtub and 1 with a shower. There is also a delightful outdoor solar shower with a grand view down the Strait of Georgia.

The kitchen has long counters, extra large refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, and is equipped to feed up to 20 guests. There are 2 bedrooms in the “lodge” building plus a cabin and platform tent nearby – accommodation for up to 8 guests. more photos

All rates are based on a weekly rental for a maximum of 6 guests in the Lodge and 16 guests on the whole site. *For additional guests there is an extra charge of $25 per guest per night. The maximum guests that the Lodge can accommodate is 8, and the maximum guests that the whole site can accommodate is 20.

*The Lodge is on the same property as Arbutus Point Camp under “Cabins and Cottages”

Extra charges may apply for use of the dock and facilities by boats other than those belonging to the renters of the property. Cabins and platform tents are available with B&B service, see Arbutus Point Camp

Arbutus Point Camp

Just established in 2005 as either a separate or integrated facility with the Lodge, Arbutus Point Camp is built around “the Commons”. Arbutus Commons is a unique cedar building with a living green moss roof. It has a multi-level deck with steps leading down to the ocean shore.
The view is over Desolation Sound to the snow-capped Coast Mountains. As with the Lodge, this is a spectacular, tranquil and private setting.

Arbutus Commons has space for inside or outdoor dining, a small but complete kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. Space is available for small group meetings, family reunions or workshops.

Built in secluded waterfront locations around the Commons are charming cabins and platform style tents furnished with comfortable beds and full linen service. A gourmet breakfast is available.
