Hayes Road Cottage

This comfortable cottage has a bright and sunny open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and skylights. Located on a private 5 acres only minutes from sandy Smelt Bay beach.
The cottage is surrounded by open grassy areas and many rhododendrons which bloom in every hue and colour.

Here one gets that "Mediterranean" feeling while relaxing in the hammock on the deck under the shade of lush flowering vines that offer a cool retreat from the afternoon sun. The flowering vines attract hummingbirds and many other birds which add to the tranquility your restful holiday.

The open floor plan on the main floor with the high ceilings and the skylights give the cottage a spacious feel.

The upstairs area offers a sleeping loft with king size futon in the main area which overlooks the living area. Plus there are two small sleeping rooms with twin size platform beds and a bonus extra sleeping loft at the peak of one of the sleeping rooms. A queen size futon has been added in the living room for extra accommodation.

The cottage offers all the modern comforts of home with a well equipped kitchen and the bounty of the sea only minutes away. The location offers easy access to the beach, hiking trails or paved country roads for biking. It is possible to walk along the beach all the way to Manson’s Landing or through forest trails to uptown Manson’s which offers shops and restaurants plus the farmers market on Fridays. It is also within walking or biking distance of Hollyhock Retreat.

This is a perfect retreat to recharge ones batteries and enjoy a relaxing quiet time.
