This sweet little sleeping cabin is amazingly well set up and very comfortable!
There are two single beds with the top bunk folding up for more room when not in use, and bedding is provided. There is power to the cabin and a deck area overlooking the garden. Hot and cold water is provided in a water dispenser with refills. Basic cooking facilities include kettle, coffee maker, microwave plus a compact fridge and dishes for two.
The bathroom is an old fashioned out house. Showers and laundry facilities are not far away at the Gorge Harbour Marina. The cabin is on a waterfront property located on Whaletown Lagoon and guests are welcome to use the shared family dock.
This is a perfect home base for kayakers wishing to explore the area! There are many wonderful bays and inlets to explore from this location. Boaters can anchor or tie up in Whaletown Bay and the cabin is only minutes walk away. Well behaved friendly dogs are welcome and there is a resident dog on the property. The cabin is on the same property as the Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse so there is additional accommodation on the property for groups. more photos
