Brambly Hedge Cottage is a new, comfortable and well-appointed cottage on the shore of Gunflint Lake. The property is ideal for a small family or two couples. The chattering water fowl that live along the lakeshore and the timid deer that come for evening visits will make you feel that you have left the city or suburbia far behind.
Gunflint Lake is perfect for a gentle swim from the dock and trout fishing (catch and release). There are easy to more strenuous hikes available nearby, and facing the cottage on the other side of the lake is Kw’as Park. It is one of the treasures of the island. The park has an extensive trail system that takes you past old growth trees to delightful swimming rocks. You’ll want to spend more than one day exploring all that the park offers.
Brambly Hedge Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a queen bed. There is a bright open-plan living room/kitchen combination and the cottage is graced with a lovely deck overlooking the lake. Just finished, the cottage has fresh, new appliances: electric cook top, microwave, convection oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator/freezer, clothes washer and dryer. It is also equipped with a television and DVD player and a barbecue.
